MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP

ENTRY FEE OF $395 INCLUDES ALL GREEN FEES FOR STROKE AND MATCH PLAY
**Entry Procedure for 2025: Registration will open for all players on October 1. There will be 50 spots held for exempt players under the following categories:
* The past 10 years of the San Francisco City Golf Champions
* 2024 San Francisco City Men’s Championship Match Play Qualifiers
* Top 20 men’s 2023-2024 NCGA Points Lists
* 2024 NCGA Champions (Amateur, Mid-Amateur, Junior)
* The top 3 finishers in each of the 6 AmateurGolf.com Winter Tour events (Dec 2024 - Feb 2025)
Registration for exempt players, and for non-exempt players with a handicap index of 6.4 or lower as of the date of entry, will open on October 1 and will remain open until the field limit (120 players including spots reserved for exempt players) is reached. When the field limit is reached, all additional registrants will be entered in the pre-qualifier at Lincoln Park on Friday, March 7, 2025.
Once entries close, if there are any unfilled spots in the Men's Championship (due to fewer than 50 exempt players registering or withdrawals), they will be filled by Pre-Qualifier registrants in the order in which they registered.
Players entering pre-qualifying will pay an entry fee of $165 for the pre-qualifier, and those advancing from the pre-qualifier will pay the remainder of the entry fee (must be paid prior to playing).
The 36-hole match play qualifier will be held March 8-9, 2025, with 18 holes played at TPC Harding Park and 18 holes at Lincoln Park for a combined 36-hole qualifying score.
There will be 156 players in the qualifying round with exactly 64 players advancing to match play. In the event of a playoff to qualify for match play, a player must be present in order to retain his right to participate in the playoff.
Match play will begin on March 15, 2025. All match play for the Championship Flight will be held at TPC Harding Park.
CART POLICY
The use of carts is prohibited for players and caddies in the Men’s Championship Flight (Appendix I – Local Rule Applies)
Note: Once the number of entries for the Men's Championship reaches 120 players (including spots held for exempt players), all additional entrants will enter the pre-qualifier as described below.
MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION PRE-QUALIFIER
Open to players with a handicap index of 6.4 or lower as of the date of entry.
Those entering pre-qualifying will pay an entry fee of $165 for the pre-qualifier to be held at Lincoln Park. Those advancing from the pre-qualifier will pay the remainder of the Men's Championship entry fee ($230; must be paid prior to playing) and will play in the 36-hole stroke play qualifier at TPC Harding Park and Lincoln Park, from which the low 64 will then advance to the match-play phase of the men’s championship.
Once entries close, if there are any unfilled spots in the Men's Championship (due to fewer than 50 exempt players registering or withdrawals), they will be filled by Pre-Qualifier registrants in the order in which they registered, and those players will be charged the remainder of the Men's Championship entry fee.
OPEN FLIGHTS
**The Open Flights are for players not participating in the championship divisions and are open to all handicap levels.
$295 ENTRY FEE INCLUDES ALL GREEN FEES FOR STROKE AND MATCH PLAY
Open to the first 128 entries received. No index is required. There will be no refunds after entries close. Contestants will play an 18-hole qualifying round at Lincoln Park on either Sat, Mar 6.
The qualifying scores will be used to assign flights of 16 players each, as well as the seeding for match play. In the case of ties, there will be a card-off to determine who advances to play in each flight.
All flights will play their first-round matches on Sat, Mar 15.
Qualifying, as well as the first two Open Match Flight rounds, will be played at Lincoln Park. The semifinal and final rounds will be played at TPC Harding Park Golf Course.
WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP, INKSTER & SENIOR FLIGHTS

$275 ENTRY FEE INCLUDES ALL GREEN FEES FOR STROKE AND MATCH PLAY
Open to the first 84 entries received; Championship and Senior Divisions. No handicap index is required.
Qualifying consists of one 18-hole stroke play round on Fri Mar 14, after which the lowest 16 scorers will be seeded accordingly in the Women's Championship Flight. Contestants with the 17th through 32nd lowest scores will be seeded accordingly in the Juli Inkster Flight. Match play begins Sat Mar 15.
For the Senior division, participants must have an age of 50 or older as of the first day of the tournament. Qualifying will consist of one 18-hole stroke play round, from which the low 8 scores will advance to the Women’s Senior Championship Flight.
Individual scores will determine seeding for match play. In the event of a playoff to qualify for match play, a player must be present in order to retain his right to participate in the playoff.
Stroke play qualifying will be held at Lincoln Park, as will the first match play round in the Inkster Flight and the Senior Flight. All other match play rounds will be held at TPC Harding Park.

MEN'S SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

$325 ENTRY FEE INCLUDES ALL GREEN FEES FOR STROKE AND MATCH PLAY
Open to the first 84 entries received. Participants must have an index of 9.4 or lower as of the date of entry and must be 55 or older as of the first day of the tournament. Qualifying will consist of one 18- hole stroke play round after which the Senior Men's Championship Flight will consist of 32 match-play contestants.
In case of ties, a card-off (see SF City Golf Championship Playoff Procedures) will determine the players who will advance to match play. Players’ scores will determine seeding for match play. All rounds will be played at TPC Harding Park Golf Course.
MEN'S SUPER SENIOR

$325 ENTRY FEE INCLUDES ALL GREEN FEES FOR STROKE AND MATCH PLAY
Open to the first 48 entries received. Participants must have an index of 9.4 or lower as of the date of entry and must have an age of 65 or older as of the first day of the tournament. Qualifying will consist of one 18-hole stroke play round after which the Men's Super-Senior Championship Flight will consist of 16 contestants.
In case of ties, there will be a card off to determine the players who will advance to match play. Individual scores will determine seeding for match play. All rounds will be played at TPC Harding Park Golf Course.
